We enjoyed an excellent meal at LOA! Ambience was very nice inside with a sea view. Service was great. We ordered cocktails first, and each were refreshing and presented well. We ordered seafood items for both the appetizers and main course and shared between our family. I have to say each item was unique and delicious! The absolute standout dish for us was the grilled sea bass in Amarillo butter. Never had that before. It had some heat and full of flavor. One of our best meals in Malta! Wish we could have gone back to order some other items we didn't get to try. Obviously we highly recommend this place!

The food was delicious; we got the chef special menu 2 and it was great value (€55 pp). Everything cooked to perfection and I loved the seabass for the main.

Additionally, the service was very quick and all the servers were attentive. Every time, they had immediately noticed when we had finished a dish, or when our wine needed a top up. Aye was particularly lovely, friendly and helpful! We’d definitely come back here if I visit Malta again.

Where to start…
It was a relief to find a walk in table on A Saturday night at 9pm.
Bibi took charming good care of the table and guiding us to the best thing to order and when they were best to arrive.
The corn ribs are now a fashion everywhere in these sort of restaurants but never fail to impress. The snapper chevice was magic but the bluefin tuna nigiri had too much rice that didn’t give the respect that the fish deserves.
The lampuki taco was superb and we finished off with a grilled catch of the day that was beyond expectations, so fat and flavourful.
The cocktails were well made but my carnival spritz tasted just like a well made aperol spritz and nothing more.
My boyfriend enjoyed his road to Jalisco but complained about expecting it to spicier.
Overall the meal was brilliant, well done to all the team. No surprises you were awarded to be on the Michelin guide.❤️

A beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly service.
We tried three different ceviches: sea bass, red snapper, and salmon. All of them were good, although none were served with corn, which is traditionally part of the original recipe.
The red snapper version was slightly sweet due to the sweet potato.
The sea bass ceviche was the most delicate and the least acidic.
The salmon ceviche was our favorite, lightly spicy, flavorful, and with a vibrant citrus taste.
The only thing we missed was the crunchy texture that corn usually adds to ceviche, so we would definitely recommend ordering the plantain chips on the side.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s stunning seaside location creates the perfect atmosphere, especially at sunset. The chef’s menu is thoughtfully curated, with every dish beautifully presented and full of fresh, perfectly balanced flavors. The cocktail selection is equally impressive, offering creative and complex drinks that pair wonderfully with the food.

A special thank you to our waiter, Amine, whose professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the evening even more memorable. He was knowledgeable about both the menu and cocktails, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect without ever being intrusive.
