After our arrival, we headed straight to the restaurant. Words cannot describe the wonderful hospitality we received. It was a special treat to meet the Italian wine merchant and chat with him on the terrace.
Thank you for making this birthday dinner so wonderful!

If you want the best authentic Italian food in Malta, this is the place to be.
Carlo and Giuseppe made were very friendly and Recommended’s two excellent dishes for us. They had some fresh tuna in on the day so I went for the tuna burrata pasta. Everything was delicious and so fresh and the burrata is the BEST burrata I’ve ever had!!
Next time we are in Malta we will definitely head back here. Grazie Mille Acqua Marina!
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Such a cute and quaint place that I happened upon whilst looking for seafood in the area. The octopus is exceptional - cooked to tender perfection and the edges crisp, the mashed potatoes buttery and smooth, and the cherry tomatoes, olive mix a beautiful constraint to the richness. Not to mention the wonderful owners who were so sweet and attentive - service was an 11/10! I would highly recommend anyone to dine here! :)
The best restaurant in Malta with very kind, professional, and positive people. Prices on the island often could be high, but not every place provides the same level of service, food quality, and such a warm welcome as Acqua Marina. As I understand, Sicilian family runs this restaurant and you can feel the love and passion they put into their art, because this type of serving is definitely art. You feel like you are a guest in their house, not a customer in their restaurant. I think I’ve never felt like this in any other restaurant. I would love to come back and I really haven’t found a better place to have a dinner even though I tried. Grazie Mille!
Food is delicious and not disappointing at all. We ordered spaghetti squid ink and swordfish. That’s nice. I would recommend Nigroni for aperitif 🍸 that was fresh and very nice. Over all you should try if you looking for Mediterranean cuisine and Sicilian in this area. The wine list also good price with many interesting on the list. The bill was reasonable price. We were enjoy experiencing there.
