Opa! Mediterranean Fusion

Venue: One of the many spots along the Sliema promenade. Nothing particularly remarkable in terms of design or atmosphere, but the service is quick.

Food: We took a cheese board and it was really good. The menu is varied and works equally well for sharing a few bites over drinks or sitting down for a full meal.

Drinks: In line with what you would expect in the area. The spritzes are nicely presented.

A good choice if you are looking for solid Greek food in Sliema.

Located right by the harbour in Sliema, Opa! Mediterranean Fusion turned out to be a great choice for lunch.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime and received a very warm welcome from the staff. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.

The menu offers a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes, so there’s something for everyone. I ordered a risotto with guanciale, while the rest of the table chose several gyros. The portions were surprisingly generous, and everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared.

The prices were also very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes, leaving us feeling that it offered excellent value for money.

Overall, we had a very satisfying experience and would definitely recommend Opa! Mediterranean Fusion if you're looking for a good Mediterranean meal in Sliema. Definitely worth a visit.

Casual atmosphere, but food was the quality of a much more expensive restaurant.

Ram, the waiter was especially pleasant and helpful.

We must always listen to James. He knows what is excellent on the menu and it was refreshing to be told that we were ordering too much. His humour and positive attitude is infectious! Almost as much as the excellence atmosphere here.

The meat platter was superb and we highly recommend it to all who want to taste a little bit of Greece.

If you are staying at the Sliema Marina Hotel in Malta, you must try Opa! Mediterranean Fusion. Even though the restaurant is independently operated, hotel guests can still receive a discount at the restaurant.

The food is absolutely amazing 😍 and the portion sizes are very generous. One of the best restaurants in the Sliema area for Mediterranean food, great atmosphere, and beautiful waterfront dining. Definitely worth visiting during your stay in Malta 🇲🇹
