Lou's Bistro

Amazing place with delicious food! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Sliema!

My review is based only on breakfast alone, dont know how everything is during lunch or dinner.
Breakfast was good, nothing special, we had the sloppy eggs and crispy benedict eggs.
Coffee not the best but not the worst.
Not the best, but decent.
The staff was really nice and friendly.

We had a lovely dinner at Lou’s Bistro where we ordered Lobster Ravioli, Teriyaki Chicken, and Fish and Chips. Ravioli was exceptionally delicious the filling was complementary to the sauce which created a wonderful combination. The only problem with the Teriyaki Chicken was that the red cabbage was tasteless but the sauce on the chicken itself was very delicious. For Fish and Chips the fish itself and its crispiness was very fresh but chips weren’t anything special and too much for one person additionally since the location is a bit windy it got cold pretty fast and the taste didn’t stay for long. Overall what I would recommend is Lobster Ravioli which I doubt you could find anywhere else. For drinks we ordered Leffe Beer if you don’t mention the size they bring 50cl.

The experience was marvelous, the food tasted very good and the drinks as well but ehat really stood out was the service. Our waiter Abhi was very nice from the start, fixed us a table on short notice, joked around with us and made us feel welcome on our very first time here on malta. This was the best restaurant visit during our stay. The waiter was also very well educated on the menu and could awnser all of out (sometimes stupid tourist 😅) questions.

The location is also very cozy, you cannot see the ocean very well but the lightning, greenery and freshness of the place more than makes up for it!

Definitely recommend to anyone who visits Valetta or Malta as well!

This was honestly the best brunch we had in Malta. Even though there are many more “popular” and crowded places around the area, none of them came close to the quality of Lou’s Bistro.

The atmosphere here was much calmer and more relaxing compared to the other busy brunch spots nearby. The service was excellent! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and everything arrived very quickly.

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also amazing. Everything tasted high quality, and the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other places around.

The location is perfect as well, right across from where the ferry to Valletta departs, which makes it an ideal stop before or after a walk around Valletta or Sliema.

We truly recommend this place. It deserves much more attention than many of the overcrowded tourist spots nearby.
